Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new subscriber gets 7 days free with everything unlocked. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged; otherwise it rolls into the $9.99 yearly plan.

How much does it cost and how do I cancel?

SimpleFuel is $9.99 per year after the trial, billed through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically, and you can cancel any time from your store subscription settings — you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Do I need an account?

Not to start. The app works straight away on your phone. Adding an email and password later (Profile → Back up & sync) keeps your vehicles and fuel logs if you lose or replace the phone, and lets you use them on another device.

Where do the fuel prices come from?

From Petrojam Limited, which publishes Jamaica's ex-refinery (wholesale) prices every week. Pumpside is updated from the published sheet and shows the refinery-gate price per litre including taxes. Stations add their own markup on top, which is what the app estimates from your fill-ups.

Does it work with electric or hybrid vehicles?

Yes. EVs log charging sessions in kWh with the session cost, and full charges with odometer readings unlock kWh/100 km, cost per 100 km and an estimated range from the battery size. Hybrids can log either litres or kWh.

How does sharing a vehicle work?

The owner opens the vehicle, taps Invite a driver and shares the six-character code. A driver enters it under Vehicles → Join a shared vehicle. Everyone's fill-ups land on the same history; the owner sees spend by driver and can remove drivers, and drivers can leave at any time.

How do reminders work?

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone from the dates and odometer targets you enter — nothing is sent from our servers. You are asked for notification permission the first time you save a renewal date.

Can I delete my data?

Deleting a vehicle or fuel log removes it from our servers immediately. To delete your whole account, email support@simplefuel.app from the address on your account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
